The following steps were followed the resolve the Metastock install issue (which is rare; very rare) of one of the clients.

We are logging it here to others can benefit from the resolution steps:

--- Comment from the team that resolved the Metastock issue by doing a clean install ---

1. The issue this client faced does not fit into a regular issue.

2. We finally completely uninstalled the system and removed or renamed all files associated with the system.

3. We then reinstalled and the clean system ran.  Then we systematically pulled back in the configuration files to make sure no problems occurred and we were able to return the configuration from the renamed folders to what  it was.

4. Many of these steps rely on a working knowledge of the system.  Below are detail steps for a complete uninstall.  These steps will differ between the Real time and End of Day versions.
