There may be only a few possible reasons, and it is easy to fix each. None of these are issues with the CUE Add-On on Metastock. CUE Global is working as designed in each of the cases.

1) Make sure your Internet connection is stable and working properly.

2) Make sure that your CUE Global Subscription is valid.
 
 If your CUE Global subscription has ended, then you may renew your subscription. You may renew subscription any time 24 hours at Superior Profit Store: this will reactivate your  CUE Global System within minutes. Alternately, you might contact Metastock or any other Superior Profit dealer through whom you acquired CUE Global.
 
3) Run Metastock Migration Utility if required.

Sometimes Metastock may apply changes to its software through a silent update. The silent update means that the changes are applied automatically. No user action is required. 
 
After the silent upgrade, it usually prompts users for running Metastock Migration Utility or MMU.
 
For some reason, if you ignored the MMU initial prompt or did not see the prompt or did not appear for some reason, CUE Global Add-On will remain inactive until you run MMU.
 
If this is the case, just close Metastock if it is running and run Metastock Migration Utility first; accepting all the prompts about changing the custom indicators, etc. Below is one snapshot of how it looks while running MMU.

Once you complete MMU run, you will be able to continue using the CUE Global System.

3) Make sure you are using CUE Global on your registered computer.
 
Note: This scenario is not applicable if you acquired CUE Global from Metastock as Metastock uses a different protocol for Access Control.
 
If you procured CUE Global from Superior Profit Store directly or through Dealers who use the Superior Profit Store as the basis for Access Control, then make sure that you are using CUE Global on the computer that you registered with Superior Profit. If you shifted to a new computer, easily transfer your CUE Global License to the new computer using the instructions here.
 
 4) CUE Global Access Server is down

Note: This scenario is not applicable if you acquired CUE Global from Metastock as Metastock uses a different protocol for Access Control.

This situation is rare. And if this ever happens, our Information Technology team works on it immediately. While they work on it, we also provide a temporary fix so that you continue to use CUE Global without interruption.
